Each bettor has specific betting preferences. Some prefer single wagers, while others are fond of parlays.
Regardless of this, parlays are still a popular avenue for many bettors. Even bettors who like single wagers still place parlays every once in a while.
If done right, parlays can be extremely rewarding.
For that reason, we’re going to cover parlay betting on FOX Bet sportsbook by showing you some of the parlays you can build on the site, as well as a few indispensable tips that will help you improve your parlay betting.
How To Place A Parlay Bet On FOX Bet
Placing a parlay bet on FOX Bet is extremely simple. All you have to do is stick to the following steps:
- Launch the FOX Bet app. Alternatively, you can go to FOX Bet’s website.
- Sign in using your FOX Bet login credentials.
- Search for two or more sports bets and add them to your betting ticket.
- Click on the bet slip to view the total odds of the parlay.
- Enter the amount you wish to wager in the box provided.
- Confirm that all your selections are accurate.
- Finally, place your wager.
Parlay Builder
When it comes to parlay builders, FOX Bet opts for a unique approach. Technically, the site has two parlay builders.
Their first parlay builder is the typical one offered by many other sportsbooks that basically allows bettors to build and place same-game parlays.
Their other parlay builder is a unique one that isn’t available on most sportsbooks.
Essentially, it’s a random generator that builds parlays for you, based on the type of parlay you want to build.
For example, if you choose “NBA Team Totals Parlay Builder”, the parlay builder will search for upcoming NBA games and generate a parlay that purely focuses on NBA team totals.
What Is A Parlay Bet?
Parlays are wagers containing two or more selections in the same betting ticket.
In parlays, all the odds of the selected events are combined, and that’s why parlays pay out substantially more when compared to single wagers.
Since parlays deal with more than one bet, any selection that you add to your parlay needs to be successful for the entire parlay to win.
That’s why you should be cautious about every selection that you add to your parlay; it’s very easy for an unnecessary pick to mess up your 12-leg parlay.
Same-Game Parlay
Same-game parlays are perfect if you want to combine several correlated picks from the same game.
Though same-game parlays were uncommon in the past, nowadays, most sportsbooks—including FOX Bet—allow bettors to place same-game parlays.
If you’re interested in seeing what a same-game parlay looks like, here’s a perfect example:
- Cincinnati Bengals Moneyline (-150)
- Ja’Marr Chase First Touchdown Scorer (+300)
- Parlay odds: +567
For the above NFL same-game parlay to win, Ja’Marr Chase needs to score the game’s first touchdown and the Bengals also need to win the game.
If both those predictions happen, then you can expect to win $567 from a $100 wager,
Player Parlay
Some bettors prefer to place player props.
If you’re one of those bettors, you can create a player parlay that focuses on stats that certain players are supposed to achieve.
Player props can focus on anything, but the common ones usually focus on points, assists, rebounds, goals, touchdowns, passing yards, and touchdown passes.
Here’s an example of what a player parlay looks like:
- Ja’Marr Chase To Score A Touchdown (+130)
- Julius Randle, Over 17.5 Points (+135)
- Paul Pogba, Over 0.5 Goals (+160)
- Parlay odds: +1305
A $100 wager on this player parlay will earn you a profit of $1,305 if all the selected player props turn out as predicted.
Moneyline Parlay
In a moneyline parlay, all the teams in your bet slip need to win—it’s as simple as that!
This parlay option is great in certain scenarios, especially when you’re looking to parlay several favorites with low odds in order to boost your winnings.
The only restriction with moneyline parlays is that you can’t include two teams if they are facing off against each other.
Here’s an example of a moneyline parlay composed of favorites from various sports:
- New York Yankees -120
- Buffalo Bills -130
- Brooklyn Nets -200
- Parlay odds: +387
A $50 wager will yield $193.5 if the New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and Brooklyn Nets all win their respective games.

Point Spread Parlay
If you prefer betting on the spread to placing moneyline bets, you can create a parlay that focuses on point spreads.
As the name of this parlay suggests, every selected team needs to cover the spread; favorites need to beat the bookies’ handicap, while underdogs must avoid losing by a margin greater than the spread.
Here’s a simple example of a 2-leg NBA point spread parlay:
- Indiana Pacers -4.5 (-110)
- New York Knicks +6.5 (-110)
- Parlay odds: +264
In this point spread parlay, the Pacers need to win by five or more points. The Knicks, on the other hand, can afford to lose by six points and will still cover the spread.
A bettor who risks $20 on this 2-leg NBA point spread parlay will win $52.8 if both the Pacers and the Knicks cover the spread.
Over/Under Parlay
Finally, if you don’t want to focus on the winner of a game or anything to do with the spread, you can build a parlay that prioritizes game totals.
In such a parlay, the only thing you’ll be focusing on is whether the total number of points in each game matches your over/under prediction.
Here’s an example of an NCAAB over/under parlay:
- Chicago State At Abilene Christian – Over 129.5 (-110)
- Charleston Southern At Radford – Under 133.5 (-110)
- Florida State At Clemson – Over 137.5 (-110)
- Parlay Odds: +596
In this totals parlay, a bettor who risks $50 will win $298 if all three over/under predictions are accurate.
Parlay Betting Strategy
If you want to win most of your parlays, you need to approach parlay betting strategically.
To help you out, here are some parlay betting tips and betting rules that should always be at the back of your mind:
Minimize Your Selections
As the saying goes, too many cooks spoil the broth. The same applies to parlay betting.
If you include too many unnecessary selections in order to boost your odds, you may end up shooting yourself in the foot as one of those unneeded selections may end up losing, costing you the entire parlay.
Place Correlated Parlays
This parlay tactic mostly applies to same-game parlays.
Essentially, you can build parlays that contain correlated picks, i.e., the result of one selection is connected and/or dependent on another selection. This is a smart way of boosting your odds without increasing too much of your risk.
For example, if you want to back a 12.5-point favorite to cover the spread and the over/under line is relatively low, you can place both bets into a same-game parlay.
If the 12.5-point favorite covers the spread, they’ll most likely do it in a high-scoring game, meaning that a bet on the over will most likely be a winner.
Hedge In Appropriate Circumstances
If you’ve won the first few selections of your parlay and you’re down to the last game, you can hedge your bet by backing a contrary pick instead of blindly hoping for the best.
You may be tempted to let it run, hoping for a larger payout, but there’s still a chance that you can lose everything.
Instead, when you hedge your parlay in such a situation, you guarantee a return regardless of the result of the final game.
Why don’t you include prop bets in your next same game parlay at FoxBet?
