Loading NBA player props...

Adam Silver is wild for giving us a Wednesday night slate where every NBA team outside of the Sonics is in action tonight.

(Before Sonics fans riot against me, just know I am a Sonics fan!)

And while you are probably also hankerin’ for some sweet player props goodness, don’t forget about the lonely team props that appear all the way to the far right on any given NBA matchup teed up on FanDuel Sportsbook.

With 15 games on the schedule, it shouldn’t be overly difficult to find something we want to throw hard-earned American currency on, so here’s what we have going tonight.

Margin of Victory Parlay

Nuggets to win by 11+, Thunder to win by 11+

If you’re just catching up to speed after the NFL season concluded on Sunday, there are some standout teams in the NBA as we approach the All-Star Break, and a lot of absolutely miserable ones.

Because of those miserable teams, five games on tonight’s docket have double-digit spreads.

While it wouldn’t surprise me if all five ended in blowouts as anticipated, I think these are the two safest bets on the board to actually see that through.

The Thunder opened as 13.5-point favorites over the undermanned Miami Heat, and as of noon ET on Wednesday, that number has already ballooned to 15 at many books.

With this bet, we only really need the Thunder to win by 11 or more. While the NBA is a far cry from the hellscape that is the last minute of a college basketball game, it’s nice to have a bit of a buffer on the point spread.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets have finally started to play like the contending team we all expected at the start of the season.

Denver has rattled off seven straight wins, including a 146-117 shellacking of the same Blazers team they will face tonight. Their last five wins have come by 12 points or more.

Jokic is humming, Westbrook is reborn, and Jamal Murray and Christian Braun are balling. I can’t see this train losing steam against a fringe play-in-round contender in Portland.

Give me the Thunder and the Nuggets to roll tonight and clear this parlay with ease.

Best Odds: FanDuel Sportsbook (+169)

I’ll Race Ya To 10!

Do you want to know a fun secret that’s nestled in the “Tools and Stats” menu option at BestOdds.com? You can find all the stats for any “Race to (insert points here)” bet, all at your fingertips.

Using that handy-dandy link above, there are two things that stuck out to me immediately.

The Cavs have the best record when it comes to scoring 10 points before their opponent can, doing so in 37 of their 53 games this season.

The Wizards, who are really bad at everything, are also bad at winning a Race to 10 bet, as they have an NBA-worst 17-36 mark in this category.

Now, the juice attached to taking the Cavs to be the first ones to 10 is a steep -240, and it grinds my gears when someone offers a best bet with a game that has more juice than a Minute Maid factory.

But we can parlay the Cavs to win the Race to 10 with the Pacers to win the Race to 10 against the Wizards, and what does that give us?

A sweet two-leg parlay that pays +127.

And we won’t have to watch the entire game or even the entire first quarter before we have an end result on this bet.

Who doesn’t love a quick win and some instant gratification?
