Sunday Night Football will be played in Lambeau Field in Week 13, with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Kansas City Chiefs.

Although Patrick Mahomes will be on the field, it’s Packers’ QB Jordan Love that has been playing better football lately.

In the last three games, Love is averaging 293 passing yards per game and has thrown seven touchdown passes.

Comparably, Mahomes is averaging 220 passing yards per game and has thrown six touchdown passes.

I never thought these two quarterbacks would be comparable in any way, but here we are.

With Kansas City currently ranked third in the NFL in passing defense (195.9 yards allowed/game) and Green Bay ranked eighth in the NFL in passing defense (219.5 yards allowed/game), there may not be too many passes at the Frozen Tundra in primetime this Sunday.

For this Sunday Night Football matchup, I will place a Same Game Parlay on FanDuel.

Isiah Pacheco – OVER 67.5 Rushing Yards AND Any Time Touchdown

Green Bay’s defense has struggled with stopping the run, allowing an average of 135.2 rushing yards per game, which is 27th in the NFL.

Also, the Packers have allowed 10 rushing touchdowns in 11 games, including nine to opposing running backs.

This all bodes well for Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco.

BestOdds EDGE shows how opposing running backs have fared against their rushing yards props when facing the Packers’ defense over the last three games.

Jaylen Warren of the Pittsburgh Steelers also ran for 101 yards and a touchdown against Green Bay on November 12th, and Jahmyr Gibbs tallied 54 yards on 11 carries while playing behind David Montgomery on November 23rd.

Even Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert ran for 73 yards against the Packers’ defense.

The weather is going to be cold, about 37 degrees and a slushy mix of rain and snow is expected.

Who wants to throw the ball in that weather?

Pick: Pacheco – OVER 67.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Pick: Pacheco – Any Time Touchdown (+110 FanDuel)

Patrick Mahomes – OVER 21.5 Rushing Yards AND Any Time Touchdown

Like I mentioned, the weather could be gross and the Packers’ rushing defense is bad.

So, Patrick Mahomes might be picking up some yards with his legs at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Mahomes has actually done pretty well as a runner this season, picking up 20 or more yards on the ground in nine of 11 games.

This graph from BestOdds EDGE shows just how well Mahomes has done on the ground, and EDGE projects Mahomes to eclipse his rushing yards prop once again.

381 rushing yards is Mahomes career-high in a single season. Even though he’s not having one of his great passing seasons, at least he’ll set some new kind of record for himself.

Mahomes has nobody but Travis Kelce to throw to in this graveyard of a receiving corps.

In the last three games, Kelce has 20 targets.

The second-most targets is Justin Watson with 19.

Mahomes may be better off running this week.

BestOdds EDGE shows the rushing success other QBs have found against Green Bay’s defense.

When guys like Jared Goff and Jimmy Garoppolo are hitting the over on their rushing props, every quarterback’s rushing yards prop is reachable against the Packers’ defense.

Also, Mahomes has 12 career rushing touchdowns, but still has zero this season.

In his best running year, Mahomes is bound to find the painted grass.

Pick: Mahomes – OVER 21.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Pick: Mahomes – Any Time Touchdown (+410 FanDuel)

Jordan Love – OVER 14.5 Rushing Yards

I have a feeling that these two solid passing defenses and the potentially treacherous weather are going to combine to make Lambeau Field a “No Fly Zone” on Sunday Night Football.

So, I’ll stick with the theme and take Jordan Love to go over 14.5 rushing yards.

Love is averaging 20.1 rushing yards per game this season, so 15 is certainly a reachable number.

This graph from BestOdds EDGE shows that Love has flirted with 40 rushing yards on a few occasions, indicating that Love can escape the pocket and scamper when needed.

BestOdds EDGE projects Love to have about 17 rushing yards, which is below his season average, but still more than we need here.

In a potentially sloppy game, I expect these quarterbacks to pick up some first downs on their own.

Pick: Love – OVER 14.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Betting NFL Same Game Parlays

Same game parlay is just like a regular NFL parlay bet, except all bet selections come from different wagers within one football game.

The benefit of an NFL same game parlay is achieved by combining multiple bets so you can go for bigger wins as the odds increase.

The more bet selections you add, the more difficult it is to win, but the odds also greatly increase so is the potential winning amount.
