Eagles vs. Cowboys Same Game Parlay | Week 14

The last time these two NFC East rivals squared up, the Philadelphia Eagles came out on top, 28-23.

The Eagles pulled off the win while still failing to collect 300 yards of total offense and losing the turnover battle, one to none.

Dallas totaled over 400 yards of offense, held a 17-14 lead at halftime, and still struggled to put Philly away.

With a five point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Cowboys’ final two drives ended in a turnover on downs and a lost fumble.

Dallas will get another crack at the Eagles inside the friendly confines of AT&T Stadium on Sunday Night Football!

For this NFC East rivalry in primetime, I’ll place a Same Game Parlay on FanDuel.

Dak Prescott – ALT Passing Yards: 300+, OVER 2.5 TD Passes

In 12 meetings with Philadelphia, Dak Prescott is averaging 260.9 passing yards per game.

Considering that the Eagles have an awful passing defense, allowing 278.4 passing yards per game (31st in NFL), I’m expecting Prescott to continue his strong run in Week 14.

In the last six games, Prescott has a touchdown to interception ratio of 20:2, and he has averaged 316.8 passing yards per contest.

Here’s how quarterbacks have done against Philadelphia in the last five games:

As long as the Eagles’ defense continues to get shredded, it’s hard to imagine Prescott not putting up bigtime numbers.

CeeDee Lamb – OVER 7.5 Receptions, ALT Receiving Yards: +110, Anytime Touchdown

CeeDee Lamb has run 55.9 percent of his routes from the slot in 2023, and Lamb has a great matchup with Bradley Roby of Philadelphia in slot coverage.

Even lesser known slot receivers, like Jauan Jennings of the San Francisco 49ers and Khalil Shakir have found success against Roby; Jennings even scored a touchdown.

In his last matchup against the Eagles in Week 9, Lamb hauled in 11 catches for 191 yards on 16 targets.

In a high-profile primetime rivalry game like this, I’d expect Prescott to look Lamb’s way often, resulting in double-digit targets for Lamb.

When Lamb receives at least ten targets, he is averaging 11.4 receptions and a ridiculous 151.8 receiving yards.

Jalen Hurts – OVER 248.5 Passing Yards, OVER 1.5 TD Passes

With a solid mobile quarterback and brotherly shoves, the running game in Philly usually takes all of the offensive headlines.

But, if the Eagles are playing from behind on the scoreboard, they may have to throw it more than expected.

When Hurts attempts at least 35 passes in a game, he is averaging 299.3 passing yards per game.

When Hurts attempts less than 35 passes, he is averaging 199.8 passing yards per game.

12 games played, six with more than 35 pass attempts, six with less than 35 pass attempts, resulting in an average difference of 100 passing yards.

Hurts’ lower passing yards totals in recent weeks may have driven down his passing yards prop as well.

From Week 3 through Week 8, Hurts averaged 296.2 passing yards, so the passing game is still in there somewhere, we just haven’t seen it lately.

As impressive as Hurts can be running the football, he will need to throw it this week.

A.J. Brown – OVER 6.5 Reception, OVER 78.5 Receiving Yards

A.J. Brown is an elite receiver, and the low-volume passing by the Eagles over the last few weeks has made some people forget.

Remember when Brown had six straight games of 125 or more receiving yards?

That was cool.

Since that six-game streak of 125+ receiving yards ended, Brown is averaging just 56.3 receiving yards over the last four games.

In his previous meeting with Dallas, Brown caught seven of nine targets for 66 yards and a touchdown.

Hurts only completed 17-of-23 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns in that game, so against the Cowboys’ defense, Brown clearly presents a favorable matchup from the viewpoint of Hurts.
