There has been a lot of talk about the lottery lately because the Powerball jackpot now sits at $1.4 Billion.
The chances of me winning the Powerball are one in 292.2 million.
Those are some long odds.
I’ll still throw my hat in the ring on the Powerball, but I’m going to produce a “lottery ticket” on Sunday Night Football in the form of a Same Game Parlay.
Let’s see how many legs I can find for this ticket on the Dallas Cowboys-San Francisco 49ers game.
I will be placing this lottery ticket on Fanduel.
Dak Prescott – ALT Passing Yards (275+) and 2+ Passing Touchdowns
The 49ers have had a soft schedule when it comes to opposing quarterbacks.
Other than Matthew Stafford in Week 2, which was a close 30-23 win over the Rams, San Francisco easily defeated quarterback Kenny Pickett of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Daniel Jones of the New York Giants, and Josh Dobbs of the Arizona Cardinals.
Prescott is more than capable of putting a dent in this 49ers defense.
San Fran’s passing defense ranks 17th in the NFL in passing yards per game (218.3), and seeing the QBs they have played, they should not be in the middle of the pack.
Prescott will push that ranking even lower in Week 5.
Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and the talented offense of the 49ers will put enough points on the board, forcing Prescott to throw it often in this one.
This one has the makings of a slugfest, and Prescott can produce his highest passing output to date.
CeeDee Lamb – OVER 69.5 Receiving Yards and OVER 5.5 Receptions
In only one contest this season has Lamb seen 10 or more targets.
That was Week 2 against the New York Jets, a game in which Lamb finished with 13 targets, resulting in 11 catches for 143 yards.

This week will be a big workload for Lamb.
The 49ers allowed Cardinals’ receivers Marquise Brown (7 catches, 96 yards) and Michael Wilson (7 catches, 76 yards, 2 TD) to torch their secondary last week, and I’d expect Lamb to continue to exploit the gaps in San Fran’s defensive secondary this week.
Dallas has lost in the postseason to the 49ers two years in a row.
In last season’s Divisional Round loss, Lamb caught 10 passes for 117 yards.
I think those numbers are a good estimate for this week.
Tony Pollard – OVER 20.5 Receiving Yards and OVER 2.5 Receptions
An Arizona Cardinals’ running back named Emari Demercado caught three passes and totaled 21 receiving yards against the 49ers last week.
That’s exactly what we need from Tony Pollard!
I think Pollard can easily hit the over on both numbers as he currently has the same number of targets as Cowboys’ No. 2 receiver Michael Gallup.
When Prescott is feeling the heat from Nick Bosa and the San Francisco pass rush, Pollard will be the safety blanket that will keep Dallas’ offense warm.
Brock Purdy – ALT Passing Yards (250+) and 2+ Touchdown Passes
Purdy has been amazing under center for the 49ers this season.
Brock Purdy ripped this throw. He was also 7-of-7 on all of his throws 10-40 yards on Sunday. @danorlovsky7 knows! pic.twitter.com/x7yoasbWLc
— Chase Senior (@Chase_Senior) October 4, 2023
In four games, Purdy has completed 72.3% of his passes, thrown for 1,019 yards and five touchdowns, and thrown zero interceptions.
Remember when I said that San Francisco has had a soft schedule when it comes to opposing quarterbacks?
Well, I feel the same way about Dallas.
The Cowboys have faced off against Daniel Jones, Zach Wilson, Josh Dobbs, and Mac Jones/Bailey Zappe.
That’s not exactly a “Murderers Row” of quarterbacks.
Purdy can reveal some holes in this Dallas defense that the inferior quarterbacks failed to.
No QB has thrown for at least 200 yards against the Cowboys’ defense this season, but with all of the weapons in Purdy’s tool belt, he should easily eclipse 200 yards, and possibly flirt with 300.
Kyle Shanahan is a creative coach that gets the most out of his offensive playmakers, Purdy included.
Christian McCaffrey – OVER 32.5 Receiving Yards and OVER 3.5 Receptions
There is no running back in the NFL that can play a huge part in the receiving game quite like McCaffrey.
The man is essentially a running back and a wide receiver.

106 Rushing Yards
71 Receiving Yards
27 Total touches

10.1 Yards Per Catch pic.twitter.com/qCTJJLSZZI
The do-it-all running back has two 100+ catch/1,000+ receiving yard seasons on his resume.
McCaffrey has had three or more catches in every game this season, and in a potential shootout, should see plenty of targets to hit four or more catches once again.
Last week, McCaffrey caught seven passes for 71 yards against the Cardinals, and with Purdy facing pressure from DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons, McCaffrey will be the ultimate check-down utility man.
George Kittle OVER 39.5 Receiving Yards and OVER 3.5 Receptions
George Kittle is a talented tight end, but when sharing a field with McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and Brandon Aiyuk, there’s only so much offense to go around.
Kittle is currently the fourth-most targeted man in this 49ers offense, behind the names mentioned above, but he doesn’t need a massive target share to hit the over on these props.
With a career average of 62.8 receiving yards per game, and a current career low 37 yards per game on the young season, Kittle is bound to have solid performances that will push his numbers back up to a career standard.
In Week 3 against the New York Giants, Kittle caught seven of nine targets for 90 yards.
In this week’s matchup, when Purdy may have to air it out more than usual, I expect Kittle to see a larger number of targets and a stat line that looks much more like his output in Week 3.
The last time the 49ers played the Cowboys, it wasn't about YAC. It was about YDC — yards during the catch.

Never forget George Kittle's 9-yard catch. That's the distance over which he hauled in what was a critical punch for the 49ers: https://t.co/WBKOiIndgj
It was Kittle that sealed the Cowboys fate last season, after all.
