Germany is a beautiful place filled with beautiful things, like castles and beer.

On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs square up at Frankfurt Stadium in Frankfurt, Germany.

Just another thing to make Germany even more beautiful.

This will be the first of two games played in Frankfurt, with the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots playing the same stadium the following Sunday.

I don’t know if that Colts-Pats game will be beautiful, but we’ll see.

This week, the German people will be treated to two of the top teams in the AFC Conference, and with solid teams comes a collection of star playmakers that are certain to entertain the masses.

How do I say, “Same Game Parlay” in German?

This Dolphins-Chiefs’ Same Game Parlay will be placed on FanDuel.

Patrick Mahomes – ALT Passing Yards: 300+ (+124 FanDuel) AND OVER 2.5 TD Passes (+152 FanDuel)

The Miami Dolphins’ defense has not been great against opposing quarterbacks this season, so I have every reason to expect Mahomes to ball out in Germany.

Especially after the Chiefs lost to the lowly Denver Broncos last week.

Just two weeks ago, the Dolphins allowed Jalen Hurts of the Eagles to throw for 279 yards and two touchdown passes, and with Mahomes not running as often as Hurts, I’d expect him to fling the ball often.

Mahomes is averaging 282.1 passing yards per game, and against Miami’s 16th-ranked passing defense, I’d expect him to hit 300 yards.

The Dolphins’ passing defense could be even worse if not for their soft schedule against opposing QBs.

Miami has faced Mac Jones of the Patriots twice, and they have faced Daniel Jones of the Giants, Bryce Young of the Panthers, and Russell Wilson of the Broncos.

The Dolphins’ defense could be much worse. They’ve faced some weak offensive opponents early and are still allowing 25.5 points per game.

Mahomes is going to expose this defense in Germany.

Travis Kelce – ALT Receiving Yards: 100+ (+188 FanDuel) AND Any Time Touchdown (-145 FanDuel)

If Patrick Mahomes goes off, then Travis Kelce will be the main beneficiary.

Tight ends have regularly burned the Dolphins’ defense, and even in Miami’s Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants, where Daniel Jones only threw for 119 yards, Giants’ tight end Darren Waller still had eight catches for 86 yards.

Last week, the entire Kansas City offense was off the tracks, and Kelce finished the game with only six catches for 58 yards.

The two weeks prior, Kelce was averaging 10.5 catches for 151.5 yards.

If this KC offense is going to get back on track, the connection between Mahomes and Kelce will need to be the offensive focal point.

The Dolphins have allowed 46 catches (fifth-most in the NFL) and 461 receiving yards (sixth-most in the NFL) to tight ends, and I’d expect there to be a ton of targets from Mahomes to Kelce this week.

Tua Tagovailoa – ALT Passing Yards: 275+ (-104 FanDuel) AND OVER 1.5 TD Passes (-154 FanDuel)

Miami’s defense has been allowing way too many points, and when that happens, Tua Tagovailoa has to keep chucking the ball to keep his team on top.

It’ll be a similar situation this week.

Kansas City’s defense has been one of the strongest units in the NFL this season, allowing just 16.1 points per game (2nd in the NFL).

But, when the Chiefs have played the New York Jets, Chicago Bears, and the Denver Broncos twice in the last three weeks, the defensive numbers are naturally going to look better.

I think the defensive numbers for KC are a bit of a mirage, and I’d expect Tagovailoa to prove it.

Tagovailoa is averaging 302 passing yards per game, and as the current leader in touchdown passes (18), he should throw it often in this potentially high-scoring matchup.

With a total set at 50.5, the highest of the Week 9 slate, this game should be quite an offensive display, and Tagovailoa will be spearheading the Dolphins’ offense to a decent point total in Germany.

Tyreek Hill – ALT Receiving Yards: 100+ (+110 FanDuel) AND 8+ Receptions (+130 FanDuel)

Hill is averaging 7.63 catches and 126.8 receiving yards per game, so I feel comfortable backing him to have over 100 receiving yards and eight or more catches in this matchup.

Miami’s defense will allow enough points so that the passing attack for the Dolphins will have to keep firing.

Hill, the former Chief, will have to be used often, and with possibly some revenge on his mind, he should have some extra motivation to burn his former employer on the international stage.

Tyreek has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in five of his eight contests, and is the first man since 1961 to collect over 1,000 receiving yards in the first eight games of a season.

The game script calls for plenty of passing, and that bodes well for Miami’s top target.

Jaylen Waddle – ALT Receiving Yards: 70+ (+102 FanDuel) AND 6+ Receptions (+112 FanDuel)

If the Dolphins have any intention of winning this game, the offense can’t rely solely on Tyreek Hill. Waddle will have to receive plenty of targets as well.

Waddle had an injury-riddled start to his 2023 season, but he’s been making strides of late, averaging 6.25 catches and 67.5 receiving yards over his last four games.

Much like Hill, in a game script that calls for plenty of passing, I expect Waddle’s usage and numbers to climb.

The Chiefs played the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5, and to me, that game is comparable to this one.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns, and this was the game in which Minnesota’s No. 1 receiver Justin Jefferson suffered a season-ending injury.

Cousins’ top-two receiving targets, Jordan Addison and K.J. Osborn, each received nine targets. Addison finished the game with six catches for 64 yards and a touchdown, and Osborn tallied five catches for 49 yards.

A No. 2 receiver like Waddle should still have plenty of opportunities to exceed his receiving props against Kansas City.

As the top-two targets for Tagovailoa, I expect Waddle and Hill to have very productive numbers in this one, much better than Addison and Osborn.

Same game parlay is just like a regular NFL parlay bet, except all bet selections come from different wagers within one football game.

The benefit of an NFL same game parlay is achieved by combining multiple bets so you can go for bigger wins as the odds increase.

The more bet selections you add, the more difficult it is to win, but the odds also greatly increase so is the potential winning amount.
