When you join a mobile sportsbook, there are numerous factors to take into consideration.

These will include promos, odds, and ease of use.

However, one of the more underrated elements to consider comes in the form of banking methods.

Before joining a sportsbook, it is important to review the banking methods available on the platform.

This way, you will know if the methods suit your needs because not all sports betting platforms feature the same banking options.

Just like sportsbooks, Daily Fantasy Sports platforms also differ in banking methods.

What’s more, DFS operators offer even fewer methods to deposit and withdraw funds, which could make things difficult for the user.

To save you some time, I will discuss the banking methods offered at Underdog in this review and tell you why they are one of the best DFS operators in the market.

How To Make An Online Deposit At Underdog

Underdog Fantasy makes banking easy for its customers.

After you have created an account with Underdog, complete the following steps to load your account with funds.

  • Sign up and log into your Underdog Fantasy.
  • On the top right-hand side, you will see your account wallet. This will let you know how much you have in your account. If this is your first time at Underdog, it will show $0.
  • Now, click on your wallet or the account button.
  • Next, click on banking and then the deposit button.
  • From here, you will choose your deposit method and enter the amount you want to put in.
  • Finally, click the submit button and your account will be loaded in seconds barring any issues.

Payment Methods

Underdog Fantasy is a fully legal, licensed, and regulated Daily Fantasy Sports platform, which means you can safely and comfortably complete transactions on the platform without worrying about your privacy.

All of your personal and banking information is protected in the highest regard.

As I suggested earlier, you won’t have as many banking options with a DFS platform as you would find with a sportsbook. You’ve been warned.

However, you shouldn’t panic or fret, this is normal in the DFS space.

At Underdog Fantasy, you only have two deposit and withdrawal methods which come in the form of credit card and PayPal for deposits and electronic checks and PayPal for withdrawals.

I will say this, if everyone offered PayPal services, you wouldn’t need much else as almost everyone has a PayPal account nowadays.

Mastercard & Visa

If you have a Visa or Mastercard, you can use it at Underdog. Whether it’s in the form of debt or credit, both methods are accepted.

Please note that some banks will charge an additional fee, but that is at the discretion of your bank and not Underdog.

American Express

Despite the notability and popularity of AMEX, Underdog Fantasy does not accept American Express cards at this time.

You can, however, link your AMEX card to your PayPal and use it that way.

PayPal

Who doesn’t have PayPal in 2022? PayPal is a worldwide and trusted e-wallet that is accepted almost everywhere, Underdog Fantasy included.

Outside of credit and debit cards, PayPal is the only other way you can make a deposit at Underdog at this time.

The good thing with PayPal is that you can link your bank account or credit card to it in order to fund your Underdog account. It is just that easy.

ACH

Most betting sites and fantasy operators allow bettors to link their checking, savings, or money market accounts to their playing accounts.

This makes it easy to draw funds directly from your bank without having to endure a bureaucratic procedure.

Despite its popularity, Underdog Fantasy doesn’t allow users to deposit via this payment method. However, you can still draw funds from your playing account using e-Check.

Venmo

With over 70 million users from all over the world, it’s fair to say that Venmo is one of the most popular payment services.

The service is owned by PayPal and is mainly used by people who want to send and request money from friends and family.

Underdog Fantasy doesn’t accept this payment method, but you could try using a  Venmo Mastercard debit card since this DFS operator accepts Mastercard.

Cash App

Cash App is an insanely popular financial platform that lets users send and receive money via its mobile app, just like you would with a service like PayPal.

Underdog Fantasy only accepts a handful of payment methods, and Cash App isn’t one of them.

So if this is your preferred mode of payment, you’ll have to settle for something else.

PayNearMe

PayNearMe is just like cash and carry.

To use PayNearMe, you will bring cash to a supported local operator – 7-Eleven, Dollar General – and they will scan the barcode on your phone that is linked to your sportsbook account.

Then, you will give the cashier your money and the funds will hit your sports account within minutes.

Unfortunately, Underdog does not offer PayNearMe as a banking option.

Normally, I only see this option with sportsbooks. I have never seen this as an option on DFS platforms.

Skrill

Similar to PayPal, Skrill is another popular and trusted e-wallet that serves over 40 million users worldwide. However, Skrill is not accepted at Underdog.

Physical Location / Cash Cage

This is another banking option that is solely for sportsbooks. The cash cage is found at retail casinos.

Most, if not all mobile sportsbooks are partnered with a land-based casino, which is where you would go to fund your mobile sports account with cash.

You could make withdrawals here as well.

VIP Preferred e-Check

You can link your checking or savings account to your favorite sportsbook or DFSoperator in order to fund your account using the VIP Preferred/e-Check method.

To set this up, all you will need is your account number and your bank’s routing number.

At this time, you can only make withdrawals at Underdog Fantasy via e-Check. You can not make a deposit this way.

Deposit Bonuses Offers

If you are new to Underdog, you can take advantage of their new user sign-up bonus plus other ongoing Underdog promotions.

There are two ways to activate the offer, which I will dive into in a few minutes.

First, you must click on the Get Bonus button right here at BestOdds.com.

You will then be redirected to Underdog to complete the registration, make your deposit, and get your bonus.

You can also use the promo code BESTODDS at sign-up to claim the offer.

Now, here is the deal:

New users will get Up to $1,000 in Bonus Cash & New Customer Free Pick when they sign up at Underdog Fantasy.

Please remember that you can not cash out bonus funds and you must play through them once.

There is a $10 deposit minimum.

How To Make An Online Withdrawal At Underdog

Similar to making a deposit, making a withdrawal at Underdog Fantasy is just as easy and straightforward.

Here are the steps to the simple process:

  • Sign in to your Underdog Fantasy account
  • Click on your account button or your account wallet
  • Now, hit the withdraw button
  • Next, enter the amount that you want to take out
  • Finally, click on the Submit button to begin the withdrawal process

*There is a $10 withdrawal minimum except when the account balance is under $10.

There are no withdrawal fees at Underdog.

Advice On Managing Your Bankroll

Whether you are sports betting or playing DFS, it is wise to manage your bankroll. This way, you are not overspending or draining your bankroll in just a few plays.

When managing your DFS bankroll, be sure to keep your DFS funds separate from your normal everyday life funds.

You also want to avoid chasing your losses. When you lose, you don’t want to force the next entry to try to recuperate your losses. Most will dig themselves into a large hole this way.

Finally,

Be sure to track your entries or in the case of DFS, the contests you join.

You can manage your winnings and losses this way to always know where you are at any given time.

Tracking your plays is the only true way to know if you are up or down. There are no guesses here. Treat betting and DFS as a business and track your funds.

Customer Service

Underdog Fantasy has terrific customer support despite the fact that they only offer two avenues of communication.

Under normal circumstances, when you reach out during normal business hours, Underdog will promptly respond.

Here is how to contact Underdog:

  • Email: Support@UnderdogFantasy.com
  • Social Media: DM on Twitter (@UnderdogFantasy), DM on Facebook (@UnderdogFantasy)
  • Discord

If you don’t need to speak to a live person, Underdog Fantasy offers a help section as well as an FAQ section to get you by with more simplistic and generic answers.
