During the 2023 season, the Miami Dolphins tied with the San Francisco 49ers for most touchdowns scored in the NFL, with 61.

Of those 61 total touchdowns, Dolphins quarterbacks and tight ends combined to score a grand total of ZERO!

Meanwhile, Miami’s divisional rival, the Buffalo Bills, scored 55 touchdowns last year.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen accounted for 15 rushing touchdowns by himself.

Both Miami and Buffalo proved to be great offenses, and both teams scored a lot of points.

However, as an Anytime Touchdown bettor, it is essential to understand which teams score a lot of points and how those teams spread the touchdowns around.

Miami and Buffalo each scored a ton of TDs last year, but they went about it in entirely different ways.

What is Anytime TD Betting?

Outside of the traditional point spread, moneyline and totals betting, Anytime TD Scorer betting is probably the most popular form of NFL betting among recreational players today.

Anytime TD betting is one of the most straightforward player props available. As the name suggests, a bettor just needs to predict which player(s) will score a touchdown.

If there is one thing to remember for this fun wager, it’s that quarterbacks who pass the ball for a touchdown DO NOT get credit for scoring a touchdown.

To successfully cash this wager, you need to select the player(s) who actually cross the goal line while in possession of the football.

We have already noted that Josh Allen scored 15 rushing TDs for the Buffalo Bills last year. Those 15 TDs do not include the 29 touchdown passes Allen completed.

Anytime TD vs First TD Scorer Betting

If you are already familiar with Anytime Touchdown betting, you probably know how First TD Scorer betting works as well.

  • When we are betting on a player to score an Anytime Touchdown, we need that player to score a TD at any point of the game.

When we bet on a player to be the First touchdown scorer, we need that player to score the game’s first touchdown.

Anytime vs First TD Odds

PlayerAnytime TDFirst TD2+ TDs
Alvin Kamara – RB-115+450+550
Javonte Williams – RB+150+700+1100
Bo Nix – QB+210+900+1600

Looking at the odds table above, we can clearly see the advantage of betting on a player to score the game’s first touchdown.

A $10 bettor would win $8.70 in profit if Alvin Kamara scores an Anytime TD. (-115 odds)

If Kamara successfully scores the game’s first touchdown, a First TD bettor would win $45 in profit. (+450 odds)

For those looking to cash an even bigger payday, there are also odds for a player to score two or more touchdowns in a game. (Kamara +550)

Anytime TD PRO Betting Tool

For those serious about becoming a profitable Anytime TD bettor, you will definitely be interested in the Anytime TD PRO tool, which can be found at TouchdownAlgorirthm.com.

The Anytime TD PRO betting tool is by far the single greatest resource available for recreational bettors today.

One feature of this incredible tool is the ability to quickly compare one team’s offense against another team’s defense.

Offense vs Defense Stats

Screenshot of NFL Offense and Defense Stats

In our example above, we can see that the visiting team’s offense has scored nine touchdowns in its six games this year.

Four TDs came from wide receivers, and their quarterbacks scored three.

Meanwhile, the home team’s defensive stats show they have allowed 12 TDs in six games, including four by WRs and six by RBs.

The Anytime TD PRO betting tool allows us to do these quick comparisons without pulling up multiple sites and opening multiple tabs.

Offense Team Profile Cards

Another cool feature of the Anytime TD PRO tool is its ability to provide a quick snapshot of a team’s recent performance.

Denver Off. L5

Screenshot of Denver Broncos Offense Stats

The above screenshot shows how the Denver Broncos offense has performed in its last five games.

Bettors can see that Denver has rushed for over 100 yards in its last four consecutive games and has failed to throw for 300 yards in any of its previous five contests.

Defense Team Profile Cards

Of course, if we can quickly glimpse how a team has performed offensively, the Anytime TD PRO betting tool will allow us to do the same for a team’s defense.

Buffalo DEF. L5

Screenshot of Buffalo Bills Defense Stats

Against Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets and CJ Stroud of the Houston Texans, the Bills defense has looked vulnerable against the pass, giving up a combined 620+ yards in their last two games.

Buffalo also allowed three passing TDs in those two games against Rodgers and Stroud.

2023 Anytime TD Stats Leaders

How many touchdowns a player scores in a season is obviously a good stat for those interested in betting on Anytime TDs.

The Anytime TD PRO betting tool does us one better by providing a player’s Anytime TD %.

2023 Anytime TD Stats

PlayerGPTotal TDsGame w/ TDAnytime TD%
Raheem Mostert15211280%
Christian McCaffrey16211381.25%
Josh Allen17151270.6%
Jalen Hurts17151164.7%
Kyren Williams1512975%
CeeDee Lamb17141164.7%

As our table above points out, a bettor can glean a lot of information from a player’s total touchdowns.

However, games with an actual TD scored, and a player’s Anytime TD% are far more valuable.

Always Shop Around

Many of us enjoy tracking down relevant stats and data to help us make the most informed decisions before placing our Anytime TD wagers.

Personally, I love logging into my TouchdownAlgorithm.com account, clicking on all the tabs, and checking out all the incredible data.

That said, no information, tool, or resource can help a bettor more than our ability to shop around for the Best Odds.

NFL Anytime TD Odds

PlayerCaesarsFanDuelBetMGM
Javonte Williams+120+165+145
Mason Tipton+490+650+475

Our odds table above is an excellent example of why shopping around for the best Anytime TD odds is our single greatest advantage as a sports bettor.

Javonte Williams scores a lot of touchdowns, and the odds on him to punch one in are usually short. However, the difference in profit percentage between the +120 odds at Caesars and the +165 odds offered at FanDuel is enormous.

The further down the odds board you go, the more significant the price difference. Mason Tipton is another excellent example.

  • A $10 bettor at BetMGM would win $47.50 in profit.
  • That same $10 wager at FanDuel, where Tipton is listed at +650, provides a $65 payout.

That is almost a $20 difference in profit from just one $10 bet.

When it comes to maximizing profit and becoming a long-term profitable sports bettor, if you aren’t shopping around for your Best Odds, the reality is you just aren’t giving yourself the best chance at winning.
