Parlays are one of the most popular types of sports bets around.
If you want to win a high payout with a smaller stake, then a parlay bet will be your best friend,
While there is more risk involved with a parlay bet, if you have the right strategy, you will be more successful in the long run.
Because of the parlay bet’s popularity, you can find them at just about every top sports betting website on the market.
Sports Interaction sportsbook is no different.
At Sports Interaction, you can bet on different types of parlays, which I will review later in this article.
How To Place A Parlay Bet On Sports Interaction
Placing a parlay bet at Sports Interaction is easy, just like at all of the other sportsbooks on the market.
Below, I will list the general steps involved with placing a parlay wager at Sports Interaction:
- Sign up and log in to sign up for a new account.
- Find the drop-down menu and click it.
- Find the sport and game you want to build your parlay from.
- Make your individual bet selections for your parlay, you will find them collected in your bet slip.
- Review your bet slip to make sure everything is how you want it.
- You also want to be sure that you have clicked on the parlay bet option.
- Finally, you will input your stake, and hit the “Place Bet” button.
- You’re off to hopefully cash a winning ticket at the end of the night.
*At Sports Interaction, your bet slip is called a bet card.
Parlay Builder
The parlay builder tool will simplify the parlay-building process.
Because there are so many betting options that you can input into your parlay, a parlay builder will organize all of your parlay options into individual categories and all in one place so you don’t have to go searching around different sports, markets, and games.
You will find categories such as game props, player props, alternate spreads, alternate totals, and more at your favorite sportsbook’s parlay building tool.
While a parlay builder is one of the best tools that you will find in a sportsbook, not all mobile sportsbooks have them.
Unfortunately, Sports Interaction does not feature a parlay builder despite the fact that you are able to build a standard parlay there.
What Is A Parlay Bet?
A parlay bet is a type of sports bet that combines 2+ wagering options in a single bet slip.
In some parts of the world, a parlay could be called a multi-bet or a combination bet.
For your parlay bet ticket to cash, all bet selections must win. Each bet selection in a parlay bet is called a leg.
Even if one leg loses in your parlay wager, the entire bet will be graded as a loss.
At some sportsbooks, you will have a round-robin option.
With a round-robin parlay, you will still get a payout even if one or more legs lose depending on what type of round-robin you choose.
Despite the risk involved, the parlay bet remains one of the most popular and most lucrative sports betting options in the industry.
Same Game Parlay
A same-game parlay has been a proverbial game-changer in the sports betting industry.
With the same game parlay (SGP), you are able to parlay corresponding betting options together from inside the same matchup.
Unfortunately, Sports Interaction does not yet offer a same-game parlay at the time of this writing.
If you are still interested in what an SGP would look like, I will include an example below:
- Dallas Cowboys moneyline (1.91)
- Dak Prescott to throw Over 1.5 touchdowns (2.62)
- Ezekiel Elliott to score Over one touchdown (3.19)
Parlay Odds: 3.96
With this SGP example, a $10 stake will get you back $159.56.
Remember, you will not be allowed to place correlating bets into a single parlay.
For example, if the Cowboys are playing the New York Giants, you would not be able to also include the Giants moneyline in the above parlay.
Also note that if one leg loses, your entire ticket will fail.
For example, if Elliott does not score in the above parlay, your entire ticket will lose.
Player Parlay
A player parlay is a parlay type constructed from all player props.
Contrary to same-game parlays, you are able to build a player prop parlay at Sports Interaction.
With player parlays, you can find player props that you like from different sports and matchups and include them on your ticket.
Below is an example of a player parlay at Sports interaction:
- Jimmy Butler Over 21.5 Points (1.74)
- Khris Middleton Under 6.5 Rebounds (7.91
- Russell Westbrook Over 8.5 Assists (1.81)
Parlay Odds: 6.09
With the above player parlay, a $10 stake will get you a $60.03 return as long as Butler scores 22+ points, Middleton grabs fewer than six boards, and Westbrook dishes out 9+ assists.
Moneyline Parlay
A moneyline parlay is a parlay built from all straight moneyline wagers.
To win your moneyline parlay, all the teams that you choose must win their games outright. If even one team loses, your entire ticket will lose.
At Sports Interaction, you can mix and match different sports and leagues and put them in your moneyline parlay wager.
Below is an example of a moneyline parlay:
- Los Angeles Rams (1.53)
- Los Angeles Clippers (2.97)
- New Jersey Devils (1.32)
Parlay Odds: 5.97
In the above moneyline parlay example, a $10 bet will get you a $59.70 win if all legs are successful.
Points Spread Parlay
A point spread parlay is a type of parlay built from all against the spread (ATS) wagers.
Similar to moneyline parlays, you can mix and match sports and leagues when building these at Sports Interaction.
Below is an example of a point spread parlay at Sports Interaction:
- New York Rangers -1.5 (1.91)
- Brooklyn Nets +3.5 (1.91)
- New York Islanders +0.5 (1.91)
Parlay Odds: 6.96
The above parlay will pay out $69.58 on a $10 wager if all teams cover their respective spreads.
Over/Under Parlay
An over/under parlay is a parlay wager made up of all bets that correlate to the total points scored in a game.
At Sports Interaction, you can mix and match sports and leagues when building over/under parlay wagers.
Here is an example of over/under parlays at Sports Interaction:
- Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers Over 48.5 points (1.65)
- New York Knicks @ Sacramento Kings Under 217.5 points (1.18)
Parlay Odds: 1.94
In this parlay, a $10 wager will get you a $19.44 return if both legs hit.
Parlay Betting Strategy
If you want to be a successful sports better, you must have a sound and proven strategy to help you cash your tickets.
Especially with parlays, since they are so difficult to hit, you don’t just want to throw bet selections in there and hope for the best.
Make sure you do your due diligence when placing parlay bets.
Below, I will give you my top parlay betting strategies for NHL which can be used for other sports to help you cash more often.
Hedge Your Bets
There is nothing worse than building a 4-leg parlay and 3-of-4 bets hit. Then, when it comes down to the final leg, it loses.
Hedging your parlay’s final leg will help counteract this deficiency and guarantee yourself some kind of a profit.
If the final leg of your parlay comes down to the Suns beating the Bucks, it would be wise to take a straight bet on the Bucks moneyline just in case they win, even if they are slated as the underdog.
To make a greater profit, you can live bet the Bucks moneyline if/when they are down big to get even better odds.
Limit Yourself and Limit Your Parlay
I am an experienced sports bettor. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t think about placing lottery ticket parlays.
Sure, one per night at a quarter of a unit isn’t bad. But some people place a bunch of these at full unit stakes and dwindle away their bankrolls.
When building parlays, be sure to make them attainable.
While you can build them at (+1000+) odds, they become longshots and are called longshots for a reason. The hit rate is few and far between.
Build your parlays with 2-4 legs and keep the odds below (+500). If you do this, your hit rate will begin to trend in a positive direction,
Place Corresponding Wagers Within Your Parlay
If you are building a same-game parlay, it would be wise to construct these with correlated wagers.
Meaning, if this happens, there is a good chase that happens. And if that happens, this will happen.
Here is an example in case I just confused you.
- Arizona Cardinals -6.5
- Cardinals-Rams Over 50.5 points
- Kyler Murray Over 2.5 total touchdowns
If you think the Cardinals will cover the spread against the Rams, there is a good chance a lot of points will be scored as the spread is at -6.5. And if 50.5 points are going to be scored in the game, Murray will likely account for three total scores.
Above is an example of placing a same-game parlay with corresponding legs.
Why don’t you include prop bets in your next same game parlay at Sports Interaction?
